in the bedroom of that house. Sorrow is a river<\/span><\/address>\n
behind the house and happiness is the name<\/span><\/address>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

of a fish who swims downstream. The unborn child<\/span><\/address>\n
who plays in the fragrant garden is named Mavis:<\/span><\/address>\n
her red hair is made of future and her sleek feet<\/span><\/address>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

are wet with dreams. The cat who naps<\/span><\/address>\n
in the bedroom has his paws in the sun of summer<\/span><\/address>\n
and his tail in the moonlight of change. You and I<\/span><\/address>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

spend years walking up and down the dusty stairs<\/span><\/address>\n
of the house. Sometimes we stand in the bedroom<\/span><\/address>\n
and the cat walks towards us like a message.<\/span><\/address>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Sometimes we pick dandelions from the garden<\/span><\/address>\n
and watch the white heads blow open<\/span><\/address>\n
in our hands. We are learning to fish in the river<\/span><\/address>\n

of sorrow; we are undressing for a swim.<\/span><\/address>\n
