for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.<\/span><\/address>\n
You only have to let the soft animal of your body<\/span><\/address>\n
love what it loves.<\/span><\/address>\n

\n<\/span><\/address>\n
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.<\/span><\/address>\n
Meanwhile the world goes on.<\/span><\/address>\n
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain<\/span><\/address>\n
are moving across the landscapes,<\/span><\/address>\n
over the prairies and the deep trees,<\/span><\/address>\n
the mountains and the rivers.<\/span><\/address>\n

\n<\/span><\/address>\n
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,<\/span><\/address>\n
are heading home again.<\/span><\/address>\n
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,<\/span><\/address>\n
the world offers itself to your imagination,<\/span><\/address>\n
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting —<\/span><\/address>\n
over and over announcing your place<\/span><\/address>\n
in the family of things.<\/span><\/address>\n
