Happy Birthday, Hallie! and many good wishes.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a May poem for this day.<\/p>\n<p><em>Hark! The sea-faring wild-fowl loud proclaim<\/em><br \/>\n<em> My coming, and the swarming of the bees.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> These are my heralds, and behold! my name<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Is written in blossoms on the hawthorn-trees.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> I tell the mariner when to sail the seas;<\/em><br \/>\n<em> I waft o\u2019er all the land from far away<\/em><br \/>\n<em> The breath and bloom of the Hesperides,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> My birthplace. I am Maia.
