Say that December sun
\nis pitiless, but crystalline
\nand strikes like a bell.
\nSay it plays colours like a glockenspiel.
\nIt shows the dust as well,<\/p>\n
the elemental sediment
\nyour broom has missed,
\nand lights each grain of sugar spilled
\nupon the tabletop, beside
\npistachio shells, peel of a clementine.<\/p>\n
