Snow,
\nblessed snow,
\ncomes out of the sky
\nlike bleached flies.
\nThe ground is no longer naked.
\nThe ground has on its clothes.
\nThe trees poke out of sheets
\nand each branch wears the sock of God.<\/p>\n

There is hope.
\nThere is hope everywhere.
\nI bite it.
\nSomeone once said:
\nDon\u2019t bite till you know
\nif it\u2019s bread or stone.
\nWhat I bite is all bread,
\nrising, yeasty as a cloud.<\/p>\n

There is hope.
\nThere is hope everywhere.
\nToday God gives milk
\nand I have the pail.<\/p>\n
