There was war and death, plundering and pillage\u00a0
My children starved, by mountain, valley, and sea\u00a0
And their wailing cries, they shook the very heavens\u00a0
My four green fields ran red with their blood, said she\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What have I now, this proud old woman did say\u00a0
I have four green fields, one of them’s in bondage\u00a0
In strangers’ hands, that tried to take it from me\u00a0
But my sons had sons, as brave as were their fathers\u00a0
