{"id":9603,"date":"2024-05-29T14:40:05","date_gmt":"2024-05-29T18:40:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eachdayisacelebration.com\/?p=9603"},"modified":"2024-05-29T15:15:57","modified_gmt":"2024-05-29T19:15:57","slug":"national-snail-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eachdayisacelebration.com\/?p=9603","title":{"rendered":"National Snail Day"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today is <a href=\"https:\/\/nationaltoday.com\/national-snail-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">National Snail Day<\/a>, a festival of which I was until recently unaware, that celebrates these little critters and their sometimes unappreciated role in the ecosystem. Snails have been around for about 500 million years, so they have been managing far better than human beings are currently doing.
